UncensoredDNS

Three Years Birthday

by Tykling @ November 15, 2012 00:08

Today, November 15th 2012 marks exactly three years since this service was launched. I've compiled a list of five birthday wishes - already posted on Twitter - that would make the world and the Internet a better place:

A completely uncensored and open internet where we stop crimes instead of hiding them behind ineffective blocking systems
A world where copyright owners do not get to destroy the Internet because it doesn't fit their obsolete business model
Network neutrality legislation in every country, take a clue from Chile and the Netherlands on this one, this is important!
A faster Tor network - everyone can run a non-exit Tor relay without risk, and if you can, please run a Tor exit node!
Widespread #Bitcoin adaptation in every country. Bitcoin is a decentralized currency, learn more at http://www.weusecoins.com//

Thanks to all the users of this DNS service for proving to me that I am not the only one who cares about censorship! Thanks to the people who have helped me make this project a reality over the last three years! And thanks to the people who are currently helping me with the new anycast project!
